Branding Padoca do Cicico

Padoca do Cicico is a brazilian bakery that mix the french tradition with local (brazilian northeast) products and culture. The challenge was translate this mix in a visual id running away of the obvious answers. The reference was an year that link those two cultures: 1964. The political situation in France and Brazil influenced the cultural production. In France the beautiful student's handmade posters had an aesthetics close to the traditional cultural production on the brazilian northeast. And brazilian artists, as Gilberto Gil and Caetano Veloso created songs against the government influenced by the french protests.
