Columbus and the Pilgrims

Storyboards, character designs, and environment designs for an Amplify CKLA Knowledge Builders video, titled Columbus and the Pilgrims. Prior to teaching this section, teachers will share this short animation in kindergarten classrooms. This video will tell the story of the Wampanoag people and the arrival of the Europeans, breaking down culturally perpetuated misconceptions about the first Thanksgiving. Characters include Tisquantum or "Squanto", William Bradford, and a modern Wampanoag family.
