La Colombe has been one of my favorite coffee roasters since I used to work with their products as a barista and cafe manager. The company originated in Philadelphia, but over the last few years they’ve expanded to both coasts and have opened quite a few locations in major cities. Given their expansion I saw an opportunity for some practice in the form of a rebrand. My main priorities were to keep the company’s origins close but increase the brand’s appeal to the customers of existing franchises such as Starbucks and Dunkin’ Donuts.
