For the 2012 Primary Elections, Google Politics needed to build an evolving visual style guide as well as create beautiful and informative content for their social platforms.
To tackle this assignment, we built an editorial team of strategists, copywriters and designers, reacting to the campaign over the course of the election year.
Our team was present at both political conventions, pulling real time search data as each day’s speakers delivered their speeches.
During this period the Google Politics & Elections social following surged over 40,000%, with some of the work being featured on FOX News, MSNBC, Al Jazeera, The Huffington Post and Mashable.
