A research-driven project exploring Chinese supermarkets in relation to migration and migrant culture. What makes a Chinese supermarket in Auckland, different to one in China? Looking at what has been carried, lost, exchanged and transformed, and how that has materialised through the integration of culture, this publication follows where the migration of people and things intersect on a material level. What can be found at these intersectionalities? How can they be observed – graphically, structurally, and environmentally?
