Documentary Film Illustrations - Richard Ricketts Stories

I was hired by Smush Media to create suite of illustrations to help fill out the imagery in a number of short documentary films about an average American in the late 1800s. The task was to create anachronistic and historically accurate illustrations that would flesh out the characters and add depth to the film, as well as to setup these traditional ink wash paintings for simple animation behaviors.
