The Alida: Embodying Southern Hospitality

The essence of Southern Hospitality, the Alida Hotel provides guests with an unrivaled encounter with Savannah, Georgia. Refined culinary and social experiences combined with a unique representation of local artists, makers, and thinkers, the hotel provides a broad yet elevated view of contemporary Savannah culture. The Alida engaged LMNOP to create an identity that pays tribute to the neighborhood's nautical-industrial legacy a well as unique hotel food and beverage brands that compliment the hotel’s themes while offering locals something distinct. Working with LMNOP, we developed a brand voice and story that pays homage to the hotel’s namesake: Alida Harper Fowlkes, an early 20th century entrepreneur and preservationist ahead of her time. Alida’s history, personality, and relevance to the hotel experience was brought to life through the hotel’s guest directory. Using the established brand voice, copywriting for the guest directory also included descriptions of the hotel’s food and beverage offerings, guest amenities, and creative partnerships.
