Optimising speedy in-app transactions

Carbon started as a lending platform which was only available on android. The business outgrew this strategy and became a financial services platform. There was a high demand for the app on iOS devices, as a result of this change in the business model. We decided to optimise the current experience on android and revamp it to make transacting easier for our iOS users and over time, android users too. The plan was to design & build a native iOS app that is better than android by leveraging on advanced & modern technology.

I was responsible for the mobile app design (on iOS) end-to-end. My tasks were:
- fix UX issues on android,
- produce all UI deliverables and
- ship to the engineering team for development.

I worked alongside a content strategist and 2 product managers.
