For the first time, two global brands Mastercard and Starbucks partnered in a campaign. Mastercard developed a digital payment system inside Starbucks’ new mobile app and we created highly customized social media content to promote it. A famous actor/singer surprised Starbucks customers by saying their names and favorite drinks in a viral video. After that, people who tweeted with campaign hashtag on Twitter were surprised by a personalized video displaying a Starbucks drink with their names on it while the singer singing their name. The campaign was supported by surprises like a free cup of coffee at Starbucks stores.
