SMOKEPURPP - animated interview for Pandora
Trap rapper Smokepurrp was interviewed at SXSW, where he was asked to describe his fantasy recording studio. Legwork Studio then set out to animate this description for Pandora's release of Purpp's newest album, Deadstar 2.
I was tasked with designing and illustrating the whacky, smoke and drank soaked world of Purpp's mind, complete with alien sound engineer and nebula-filled space setting.
The project was recognized on Motionographer, VOTD, Adforum, the Drum, All Hip Hop and more.
