Gender Justice Los Angeles

Gender Justice Los Angeles (GJLA) is the first trans-lead organization supporting members of the transgender and gender-nonconforming community; founded in 2001. As a socially conscious designer, it is important for me to work in support of urgent issues. I am passionate about environmentalism, the LGBTQ community, and Feminism, to name a few, and I feel compelled to bring these themes to the forefront of my practice and empower members of these communities. For Gender Justice Los Angeles, that meant establishing an identity system to represent their inclusive, fluid, and evolving organization.
