Pan dulce isn’t just about tasty sweet pastries, it’s tied to a rich tradition in Mexican culture. With that said, authenticity is an important factor for the community they serve, as well as being welcoming to a diverse audience. This presented the challenge to use design as a way to invite an outside culture in, without the need for the expected visual tropes for Mexican culture.
