Surfrider // NYC Blue Water Task Force

Surfrider’s Blue Water Task Force is a volunteer collective that monitors the waters in which we recreate for sewage runoff by collecting water samples and testing for enterococcus (a bacteria that feeds on mammal poop). Test results are categorized as GOOD, MEDIUM, or POOR based on the EPA recommendations of safety levels.

I designed these summer and winter-themed graphics for Surfrider’s NYC chapter to display the water testing results in a fun color-coded way on email and via social media.
