High Spirits

"High Spirits: Interwoven Short Stories on Dominican Diaspora" is a fictional short-story novel I wrote as my Creative Writing thesis and turned into a design project. The book details moments from the lives of the Belen family in Dominican Republic and NYC, including themes of addressing cultural masculinity and magical realism. I designed the book layout, chapter illustrations, and the book cover.
