The goal was to create a brand new way for customers to pay their Prepaid bill with cash through an in-app digital barcode.
The Prepaid customer often doesn't have access to a credit or debit card (and have cash-paying jobs) and would prefer the flexibility and low commitment by paying for their bill in cash. Even with just 7-10 partner stores, there are plenty of locations to make their lives easier.
I was the lead UX designer, collaborating with a designer, copywriter, and project manager. We created an impactful experience for our customers by enabling them to use their preferred payment method of cash, set to launch in Q4 2019.
