IWG Flexible Workspaces - Service Design, Web, and App
IWG is the umbrella company for brands such as Regus and Spaces, two leading brands in the flexible workspace category.
Despite IWG’s trailblazing status in creating the flexible workspace category and their global footprint advantage with over 3,300 locations across the world, rapidly shifting market dynamics were posing a threat to IWG as a business and their digital offerings were falling behind.
ROLE & APPROACH:
I was brought on during the vision phase of the project, working with a UX director and a research specialist, along with a wider team of consultants, strategists, and designers, to help define how Huge could shape the future of IWG and flex space in general. The client had very little data collected on their customers and the organization was quite siloed, meaning we had to work fast to uncover real customer insights and to bring together the different parts of the organization.
The vision was successful in uncovering five key customer mindsets and aligning the organization around a north star for service, digital and organizational design, providing both short and long term projects that are currently being initiated in the first design and build phase.
