Nesquik needed help modernizing their portfolio to compete with more sophisticated offerings like Califia and Ripple. The challenge was to target a young adult audience without alienating their younger demographic.
Their hertiage as a kid's dairy brand with added vitamins made them uniquely positioned to expand into more targeted benefits. We restructured their portfolio to adopt more functional beverages that include MCT oils for boosting cognitive ability or probiotics for gut health. The design focused on refreshing core elements like their logo and bunny for a more streamlined appearance while color and pattern were used to create a sense optimism that appealed to a wider audience. We used consumer testing to validate this radical new approach an inform the longterm pipeline of innovation for the brand.
