The Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the Senate

The goal of this project was to create the first institute solely devoted to the US Senate and to inspire future generations to take a more active role in democracy. I was the lead experience designer for the outer “horseshoe,” which is a series of interactive projections that cover the history and workings of the Senate. Visitors use tablets to interact with the projections as well as other visitors. I helped conceive the entire vision and wireframed all of the wall and tablet interactions. I also led the design and oversaw the production of the Senate Immersion Module, a 100-player Experience that casts participants in the role of a senator for around 3 hours in a scale replica of the Senate Chamber.
