Woodstock of Eating

Woodstock of Eating is the biggest carnival-style pop- up market brand in China. It focuses on the newest local consumer brands that are indie, trendy, fun, and innovative. Woodstock of Eating is all about food, music, entertainment, and interaction. They are always looking for fresh urban lifestyles, promoting new brands and discovering the fun people behind consumer culture. People called them “the food market with attitude.” It has become the hip peoples’ must-go market in China. It first started in Beijing, then spread to Shanghai and other major Chinese cities. The brand itself took the inspiration from the Woodstock festival, and they are connecting all the trendsetting urbanites. So I want to make the brand itself urban, young, and cool. We added 60s visual elements from the Woodstock era into Chinese characters, creating both Chinese and English typography.
