Halfords - Product Descriptions. Blogs & Video Script Writing.

The Challenge With a full website relaunch, a small project budget and a short time frame there were a lot of challenges to overcome. Working alongside another freelancer, 4,000 product descriptions had to be re-written and fully optimised for the new website launch. Alongside this, 120 new blog articles had to be created with 12 video scripts created. It was a challenge we embraced. What we did & achieved A series of video scripts were created for presenters to use in a new interactive advice centre for Halfords website. Working with big name brands like Kona, Muc Off, Boardman Bikes and Haro was a fantastic learning curve and opened up a lot of opportunities for further project work due to our successful delivery. 2,000 product descriptions were written, fully optimised and linked with their corresponding blog articles, all created by us. With a large majority of Halford's revenue coming from online, or from customers sourcing online articles and forming product decisions, each piece of content had to be accurate, timely and engaging.
