Ark Bent-Wood Reading Chair

Ark reading chair was hand made (by me!) in Denmark under the guidance of local furniture makers and designers. Named after the Danish word for “sheet,” a nod to the paper models I made during the design process, the chair’s simple form creates striking lines and highlights the strength and versatility of the materials. The shape for the Ark chair was inspired by furniture and architecture found throughout a tour of Scandinavia, and guided by traditional Danish production methods.
