Kimpton Hotels enlisted the help of Bootjack Creative to concept and brand a new seafood restaurant for its Portland “Riverplace” property. Looking to a recreate the classic fishing lodge experience, Bootjack developed a fictional name and brand story centered on the sport and its history. The “brand,” King Tide, now stretches across faux fishing-line coasters and sardine-tin check presenters for a playfully authentic experience.
