Minneapolis College of Art and Design Rebrand
With the goal of elevating the look of MCAD to that of a world-class cultural institution, the visual language of the brand is defined by simple typography and utilitarian gestures. The core of the identity system is the frame; a visual
behavior that responds to the format. This rigid structure provides a clear institutional context, ultimately allowing for the work within to reflect the ever-changing aesthetics and views of a diverse student body.
