BlackRock - Connecting Wealth & Well-being
BlackRock is the world’s largest asset manager guiding individuals, financial professionals and institutions in building better financial futures. BlackRock’s Global Investor Pulse Survey examines investing behaviors across the world. The 2019 survey included 27,000 respondents in 13 countries. The U.S. sample included more than 4,000 respondents. They tapped my team to create a narrative-driven digital experience that utilizes their depth of data and insight in a way that is compelling to end-investors as well as industry professionals. Our solution was based on a key insight, that our relationship with money and our well-being have always been linked concepts but have been divorced in modern times. People have come to see physical exercise, nutrition, mindfulness, and social relationships as part of their well-being. Yet, they have artificially separated money and the broader definition of “wealth” from their core perception of well-being. We want to reclaim the connection between wealth and well-being.
