A journey is not a trip, it’s a transformation. This is the promise of Louis Vuitton Journeys. And no one embodies that concept more than Angelina Jolie. In 2000, she headed to Cambodia to film the movie Tomb Raider. What happened there would not only change the course of her life, but would affect the lives of countless others. Through interviews, local portraits and interactive soundscapes, we created an exploratory site that tells the story of that first trip to Cambodia and showcases the power of a journey. The site then invites you to examine how travel has changed your own life - allowing you to share your stories and see the places that have transformed the lives of your friends. As a side note, with ten days to go from brief to a shoot with one of the highest profile stars in the world, a skirmish on the Thai border that caused delays with one of our camera crews, not to mention being the sole agency representative on-site to handle all the issues, I can honestly say that Cambodia changed the course of my life as well.
