Google Translate X Rio Olympics
In anticipation of the 2016 Summer Olympics we worked with Google Brazil to Introduce Rio locals to Google Translate - a tool that would help them break down language barriers and make over 500,000 guests from all over the world feel at home.
We transformed over 700 OOH placements into the Google Translate interface, and used them to translate helpful and welcoming messages from Portuguese into languages the whole world could understand.
The campaign was so successful, the Olympic Committee made Translate a central part of the Paralympic closing ceremony.
I spent a month between Rio and Sao Paolo working with the Google team to develop hundreds of hyper contextual OOH placements while writing, shooting and editing the anthem film.
