Pepsi Max - Epic iPad Ad
"Epic" is not a word regularly used to describe digital advertising. Then again, this one had a Snoop Dogg cameo. Pepsi’s rich media ad launched on News Corp's The Daily iPad app. I worked closely with the creative team at TBWA\Chiat\Day Los Angeles to brainstorm, conceptualize, and advise on mobile usability and technical best practices. One month and six coast-to-coast flights later, this gem of an ad was born. The collapsed banner asks users to “Take Your Touch Screen to the MAX”. Once expanded, the execution offers a wealth of interactive (and often hilarious) content to be explored. The execution won an IAB MIXX award and is featured in the IAB’s Tablet Showcase.
