This is one of my favorite projects ever. No. Seriously. Popsicle was in jeopardy of losing its trademark name and new competition was entering their market place. So, to help fight off the competition and solidify there name , we created Man of Popsicle—a proprietary character for the brand. This eccentric hero was used in all forms of digital and traditional media. With his iconic catchphrase, "If it's Popsicle, it's possible!", Man of Popsicle pushed sales to record high volumes despite a major competitive thrust by Nestle, who outspent Popsicle 7 to 1. Classically campy TV spots were created to bring this memorable character to life.
