Time's One World Trade Center Gigapixel Panorama

After 12 years of anticipation, the tallest skyscraper in the Western Hemisphere (1,776 feet) was ready for its opening. 10,000 workers lifted 104 floors, gave new life to an international symbol and created one spectacular view from the top. When the moment was right, Panogs CoFounder Michael Franz and Time Magazine partnered together with the goal of creating an interactive panorama to showcase and symbolize the rebirth of Lower Manhattan. Panogs CoFounder Gavin Farrell stitched the final image and on March 6th 2014, it went live across newsstands and the internet and was an instrumental centerpiece for TIME’s rebranding of their website. With a viewpoint suspended 10’ out from the spire it was One World Trade Center's "selfie" and a unique view that can only be experienced: https://www.panogs.com/onewtc
