Mario Testino Private View

Mario Testino is known for the extraordinary way in which he can capture the most private of moments. His spontaneous, often intimate portraits offer the viewer new perspectives on famous faces and fashion icons. For Private View, we selected the pictures that meant most to him, choosing to show all of the different sides of his creative output. The influences on his portraiture for example, owe a lot to his fashion photographs and in turn his work with The Royal Family. I designed the exhibit logo and packaging for the special edition book to accompany the exhibition launch in Beijing at the Today Art Museum, working closely with the internal exhibitions team there and in London to fulfil all design requirements and establish guidelines for the opening launch and running exhibitions to come. This special edition design was featured in the Thames and Hudson book ‘Collector’s Edition, Innovative Packaging and Graphics’ by Stuart Tolley. I worked with Mario, and the in-house design team on many international exhibitions, branding projects and private commissions as well as luxury and fashion campaigns with many high profile names. Often producing pre-production proposals and design packages.
