Listening to Coal

As a solo project in the course of my MFA at RISD, I researched, photographed, and recorded 360 degree sound in an exhibition coal mine in West Virginia. I brought together that material and foley sound to create an accessible Web VR experience. Currently, I’m in the process of 3D printing a prototype of a VR mask that’s run on Arduino technology with the help of Realitvy developers.
