The Black Tux x NFL

The Black Tux – Setting a new standard for traditional tuxedo and suit rentals. The Black Tux is reinventing the formalwear rental industry so guys can show up at their best on the days that matter most. The company designs and manufactures modern rental suits and tuxedos that actually fit—made of 100% wool, ordered online, and delivered for free. To expand The Black Tux’s consumer audience (typically comprised of grooms, groomsmen, prom kings, etc.) we manifested a six-figure partnership with NFL Pittsburgh Steeler wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster during the 2018 fall football season. The Black Tux provided Smith-Schuster with game-day custom-tailored formalwear that reflected his candor and big personality. The contract included a consistent cadence of dedicated Instagram and Twitter posts along with a Youtube video. Throughout the season, I directly managed the partnership between brand, Smith-Schuster, and his manager. My responsibilities included directing content, developing messaging, approving posts, and reporting analytics. Responsibilities: Partnership Negotiation + Contract Finalization, Talent Management, Brand and Talent Liaising, Content Curation, Social Media Reporting and Analytics
