In December 2015 my wife and I stayed at an agriturismo in Tuscany, Italy. Inspired by the scenery, the food and the culture- a seed was planted in my mind to one day make a film about olive oil production. Years later, I discovered Olio ROI- a family who, since 1890, has been milling olives and making oil with a special type of olive called taggiasca.
This film follows the process of olive oil production from start to finish.
