United Nations x Pharrell Williams International Day of Happiness

As Project Lead on the United Nations International Day of Happiness, I partnered with the UN Foundation and Google Creative Lab to inspire a global dance party and drive supporters to sign the Live Earth Petition, rallying 1 billion people to demand world leaders to commit to tackling climate change at the December summit ahead of the Paris Agreement. We generated over 1200 user-generated YouTube HAPPY dance videos from 222 countries including the US, UK, Canada, Philippines, S. Africa, Malaysia, India, Brazil, Germany, and Japan and raised ~$100k on the day of launch. We received ~1B combined impressions of the hashtag #HappyDay and #HappyPlanet across social platforms. Additionally, I was able to have the Empire State Building lit up in yellow, the official color of this global holiday which has been running annually ever since.
