Get more people engaged with the Home Depot brand
Anyone who would consider making something out of nothing?
Home Depot makes it easy for you to do it yourself?
Don't buy it, build it.
Home Depot will collaborate with high end designers to help put together easy to use customizable instructions for a large variety of chic products.
Target interior design/Architectural magazines with double-sided ads. On the one-sided place a semi generic yet over-the-top product ad for furniture, a room remodel, or any item can imagine. And Make the items pop in a Super cravings way. Now juxtapose on the other side in bold letters DON’T BUY IT, BUILD IT. Causing the viewer question the ad and look twice. What's it look deeper they see a simple blueprints white on orange of the exact item on the other page. A caption on the bottom of the page says “instruction & materials on the back” encouraging people to tear out the ad and take it to The Home Depot.
Setting up what seems to be a cute ad for nicely designed furniture, or whatnot, once the user scrolls to the next Image (to presumably see more furniture like that one) they see in bold letters “DON’T BUY IT.” And the next image “BUILD IT.” and a blueprint of the original item they wanted to see more of. And finally the last with the caption “For instructions and materials tap on shop now.”
