Ideo.org’s Prosperity initiative focuses on designing tools that service low-income communities with the goal of financial empowerment. We worked with ideo.org to develop a character to anchor a coaching chat bot: a digital pal who could check-in on the regular, working in tandem with human advisors. As users work through their fiscal education journey, this character offers encouragement, advice and nudges to stay on track.
