Writing copy geared towards millennials is tricky: it's important to sound authentic, but if you try too hard, you risk alienating both millennials and other demographics.
Instead of responding to my client's request for a millennial-friendly homepage by peppering the copy with buzzwords and functionless hashtags, I developed an intimate, informal voice that millennials (and other folks) will find relatable.
The homepage begins by addressing the user directly; this mode of address continues throughout, providing a taste of the individualized attention that differentiates Haldi's approach.
