Atlas of Emotions: Interactive Experience

I worked with Stamen Design on the Atlas of Emotions, an interactive tool designed to help users build emotional awareness. The project was originally commissioned by the Dalai Lama, and realized by prominent emotion researcher Paul Ekman and Stamen's data visualization team. My job was to revise copy throughout the tool, translating academic terminology into short, easy-to-understand definitions and giving the website a distinct voice—informed, but casual. I also wrote an introduction to the unique project and its creators.
