Develop a design system that the product and marketing teams can adapt to streamline workflows while building a flexible CMS platform that can adapt and grow as the marketing strategy iterates.
We began to audit and examine the current workflows of the internal teams while learning about the competitive landscape and current understanding of the brand. We performed user interviews, conducted a competitive audit, amongst other research methods to help us, with the client, define the product vision to help develop our experience brief. This would be the foundation for all decisions made for the project.
Once we defined the experience brief, we moved into developing the new information architecture based on stakeholders’ and users’ needs. During workshops and testing to develop the new IA, we began to work through key pages for an MVP launch. We defined the overarching story for the site, each navigational vertical, as well as the page templates, to help maintain the design system and experience strategy we are building.
