2019 finally saw the major rise in female empowerment campaigns. Hulu was not one to hold back. We wanted something daring that would lead into a year-long female sports campaign. We went with the campaign slogan We See You with the end tag of See Her in a Different way. Telling the viewer that they dive deeper into women’s history and achievements on Hulu. Kicking off on Women’s International Day the campaign hit on-channel, digital, and social markets. Hulu wanted to celebrate the rise in awareness of women’s sports. We decided to be as edgy as they’d let us with a campaign that focused on turning derogatory phrases most commonly associated with females into powerful anthems.
