The world's first moon-activated AR experience, created for Universal Pictures' First Man. POWSTER Labs brought the story of Apollo 11 to life using WebAR and Google Vision API. The moon becomes an AR marker to unlock exclusive content in a visually stunning storytelling experience, all in browser.
Designed and executed the creative pitch along side the Creative Director which was reviewed by Universal Pictures and chosen to be part of the First Man marketing campaign.
Designed an elegant UI that fit in well with the movie and the year it's based upon. Even though AR is quite a futuristic concept, Universal Pictures wanted to make sure the design isn't futuristic and fits in with the 1969 vibe of the movie.
