Antibodies is an experiential exhibition at Think Tank Gallery exploring the reclamation of “classics.” The show features a series of multimedia light sculptures by Los-Angeles based artist Ginger Q.
Her work focuses on creating unconventional pieces that challenge assumptions. The series displayed a collection of neon, metal, and plastic forms-- from bodies to a neon truck sculpture. Enter: Antibodies: An experiential installation that counteracts societal homogeneity. The collection focuses on rebutting a heavily imposed trope of uniformity. This is where dynamic forms deplatform the status quo. The exhibit is a series of pieces that represent the urgency of inclusion and embrace the antibody. ~All are welcome~
