In early 2018 I was asked, as part of my time in DesignWorks, to design the Strategic Plan 2018-2022 for Draíocht Arts Centre. The publication presented an opportunity to refresh the organisation’s tone of voice and brand image - to create a new visual narrative that better reflects the values and vision of Draíocht.
Taking subtle influence from the Draíocht identity, the strategy design reflects this idea of space, and connects their strategic vision with the role the theatre has in the community today - supporting the journey of thousands of people to enhance their lives through creative arts events, projects and initiatives. Through short collaborative research exercises, I developed the design concept, breathing a sense of liveliness and passion into their brand image that celebrates the important work undertaken, the achievements of the organisation and the vision Draíocht has for the future as ‘a space for the arts’.
