At the request of U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Transit Administration (FTA) a nationwide safety and security awareness campaign designed to encourage the active participation of transit passengers and employees in working together to maintain a safe transit environment. As Creative Consultant to a public information agency (MRD Consulting) with offices in Miami and Washington DC, I participated in the proposal for TransitWatch. The project was given the green light summer 2005 with initial ideas for name, logo and tag line to be presented by end of June; three distinct campaign ideas by end of July, and final campaign (Posters and transit ads) delivered by mid-August, and all other deliverables ( "ToolKit with instructions logo formats and cd with printer-ready art). I was on vacation in Maine during the month of June but put together all the work in a MacPro notebook. Responsible for the name, logo, tag-line, image research, copywriting, and production of all printer ready materials, CD and instructions to be provided to Transit authorities throughout the country.
