How do you prove the power of data to NBA fans? You partner with the NBA to create a full-on reality show. GM School, which aired on NBA TV during prime time, followed four stat-savvy fans as they battled for a chance to score a job in the NBA. The contestants competed in challenges designed to test their basketball analytics skills as they tried to impress the judges: Hall of Famer Kevin McHale, Former Cavaliers GM David Griffin and Head of NBA Basketball Strategy and Analytics Evan Wasch.
