adidas Laser Animations

Art directon for experimental Badge of Sport animations in collaboration with laser and special effects artist Zak Forrest. The excercise resulted in a seemingly endless collection of in-camera renders of the adidas badge, later applied in a variety of ways: as stand alone animations in brand films, and utilized in-situ, projected on basketball courts and gyms. The initial concept was to amplify the progress of the brandmark’s recognition as well as experiment with a more playful approach. The following are some stills from a test shoot/application following the initial exploration.
