LA Phil has been celebrating its hundred years, and the biggest question about the following season is what’s next – what will the next century look like for the world’s most cutting edge orchestra?
For the Season 2019/20 Campaign, they needed a fresh perspective. They’d hired an agency to do this, yet had pulled it back in-house. After doing a photoshoot with the musicians, the campaign was felt to be too flat. So they brought me in to explore how it could be pushed to another level, in terms of color, depth and concept.
The client really liked the vivid colors and background sculptures, and decided to bring their intense vibrancy into the original campaign.
