Simply Am: Process
For this health food blog company, I presented two directions. The research focused on the distinction between male and female food bloggers. The idea was to have a brand that was interesting, diverse, warm, and bright. Here is what I came up with:
I started by picking out colors (based on Frida Khalo's artwork that inspires Floritza, the cook/coach greatly) which set the tones for two directions. The first logo involved creating many iterations and winding it down to one choice that offers diverse characteristics. The second logo was created from a more complex version of the illustration accompanied by a simple type. Both ideas can be pushed further.
