FilmFlow is the social streaming service. This is a case study for a fictional movie streaming service which puts user experience at the forefront of its design, where other services seem to be lacking. This concept includes a number of key features that have been overlooked by the likes of Netflix and Amazon Prime, including public or private user-created collections, seamless social intergration and the much-loved classic star rating system. FilmFlow allows the user to take full control of their collecting curating. For example, films that have been watched or that are to be watched are marked accordingly with a simple visual language of colour and iconography. Unlike with other services, users are able to create multiple playlists that can be shared with friends or the rest of the world. Be it your kid's favourite animated movies, your embarassing guilty pleasures or every film featuring Ryan Gosling? The choice is yours. To further ease the user experience, any playlist can be sorted into any order from year of release to your star rating so you'll find what you want to watch in an instant.
