In the huge market for soda with multi-billion dollar brands commanding all the attention, how can a tiny, well-loved but little known Italian brand make a splash? We invited San Pellegrino fans on Facebook to experience the passion beauty of an ancient village in Sicily. A special app on Facebook let the fans take control of web camera enabled, remotely controlled robots, allowing them to “stroll” the streets of an ancient Sicilian village, chatting with locals who could also see them at home in America.
